Absolutely brilliant

The tea itself was good however no shade offered for the midday sun!

Punting was very good fun. Afternoon tea was lovely once we had negotiated some tables in the shade. Hotel didn't seem to be set up for blazing hot sunshine, no sunshades available at all where they had set up the tables originally. They happily moved us but we were lucky that tables became available.

Very enjoyable, our guide was friendly and knowledgable.

So much fun! we had the best time doing this, the punting was brilliant and we got to have a go, our host david was hilarious. Afternoon tea was delicious, beautiful riverside location, couldn't have asked for more.

The punting experience was excellent. The DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel displayed a disappointing attention to detail in respect of not clarifying the price of a bottle of Prosecco and subsequently attempting to charge an excessive £50 for it; by not taking care in the preparation of vegetarian sandwiches to change the cutting knife, resulting in cheese sandwiches being flavoured with salmon.

Another hit with everyone. We all agreed we wish it had been longer as we were having such a good time

Punting was lovely. It's a shame they weren't expecting us! Very nice hotel but mixed ham on vegi sandwiches & very expensive drinks should have been confirmed up front.

Punting was excellent however the afternoon tea was disappointing with no much sandwich choice. No drinks list offered and very expensive

The guys who punted us down the river were brilliant! Very knowledgeable and good fun too. They even stopped at the wine merchants for us during the tour! Blankets were provided as it wasn't the warmest of days. A brilliant way to see Cambridge. Afternoon tea was nice - alcoholic drinks were VERY expensive in the hotel!

It did what it said and was enjoyable

Excellent service from both punting company and the hotel where we had afternoon tea. Very friendly staff at both.

Great value and great event. Very relaxing and we certainly had the weather for it.

Amazing and so relaxing was needed

Again not great as the morning of afternoon tea we were asked if we had any allergies, I have bad nut allergy and this was passed on the the person who text us! We turned up and slowly (very slowly) served tea then food and it was only when I inquired about the nut allergy that they told me the cakes were walnut! I told them we had told them and they had know knowledge of this so it took them a little while to get me but free cake so are it after everyone had finished!

This and the afternoon tea saved the weekend.

Lovely time punting, girl was very informative. Was a bit concerning that they struggled to find us on their lists. Wasn’t sure where afternoon was and again struggled to find us in the list. Food for afternoon was delicious and plenty of it. Drinks a bit on pricey side but guess that is what you pay in a city.

Our punt guy was great. They originally were a little disorganised as they couldn't find our booking and didn't tell us where the tea would be. But other than that good experience. Great fun.
